Crewe Alexandra’s head manager David Artell recently hinted towards the situation in the club when it comes to transferring of players. The head coach did not show much interest in revealing whether or not the club is being able to recruit new faces. However, he did mention that they do look forward to rope in new players by the end of the month.

It has been realized that after lending out Michael Raynes to Hartlepool United, the Club is falling short of players. Apart from Raynes, the club had sold off Brad Walker to Shrewsbury and had returned players like Kevin O’Connor and Corey Whelan was sent back to their parent clubs. Even Lewis Reilly was given on loan to Curzon Ashton.

Head coach Artell is quite tight-lipped about the situation in the recruitment of new players but when asked questions, he did say that there is a slight chance of having an addition in the time soon enough. He did mention that the club has some backup plans and might go the alternatives. He said that fans may notice certain movements in and out of the club sometime soon.

Around this time only, another news has come up saying that the fans of the club are very keen to meet its controversial shareholder. The group’s intention to meet the shareholder Normal Hassall seems to be in the near future.

David was noticed saying that whoever is recruited at whatever position in the club, the main intention is to have players who work hard and truly intend to take the club forward. He is glad that the club has started off positively. He is thankful for all the support the club has received until now and hopes to never disappoint its fans. He said any new updates of the club will be notified on the official website and social media pages.
